Attaching New Pages for 2015 in Ration Cards starts today

The work of attaching new pages for the year 2015 in the Ration Cards is started today. From 2001, new pages are appended with extended time mentioned on the same ration card to get the essential items for each household in Tamil Nadu.
As the year end is nearing and the time limit for this year in the ration cards is getting completed, the work of attaching new pages and extending the time limit for the next year has started. Arrangements have been made to control the crowds and to supply everybody with the necessary page through shift work.
Government has announced that this work will go on till this month end and people who do not purchase any product through ration cards can renew their cards online. Around 1 crore and 96 lakh ration cards are to be renewed in more than 30 thousand Fare Price Shops in Tamil Nadu.
