‘108’ Ambulance Service Back in Operation!

‘108’ Ambulance service, which was withdrawn due to some technical faults from midnight is back in operation.
Officials informed that the technical fault has been rectified by BSNL service personnel and the service is back in operation.
They also informed an alternative number 044 - 71709009 which was temporarily allotted for this service is being withdrawn as the public can now dial 108.
Earlier, 108 ambulance services were disrupted from midnight (Tuesday, 2nd December). An alternate number was immediately provided for the public.
There was a connection problem on the telephone exchange. BSNL service personnel are on the job to restore the same. So, alternate number 044- 71709009 was provided.
Now, this has been rectified and the service is back in operation from 10.30 Am on Wednesday, 3rd December.
