With just couple of days left for the `Maha Deepam` at the Tiruvannamalai temple, GVK-EMRI 108 ambulance service has stepped up their presence in and around the temple. Lakhs of devotees are expected to throng the temple to take part in the ceremony, which will begin on Wednesday. Fifteen ambulances, 10 mobile medical teams and 50 student volunteers from the `Friends of 108` club will be part of the preventive measures, which will be in place from December 4 to 6.
