Vels Entrance Examination VEE-2015

The Vels Entrance Examination VEE-2015 for admission to UG and PG courses at Vels University, Pallavaram will be held on 2 May 2015, between 2 pm and 4 pm.
The exam will be held across 38 centers in India including Chennai, Cuddalore, Madurai, Salem, Tiruchi and Vizhupuram in Tamilnadu and in other regions in New Delhi, Mumbai, Ranchi, Patna, Kolkata, Allahabad, Trivandrum, Vijayawada and Hyderabad.
The offline objective type exam is for admission to engineering, pharmacy, MCA and MBA programmes. Application for the entrance exam can be downloaded at www.velsuniv.ac.in. Last date for submission of filled-in application is 25 April, 2015.
Scholarships will be offered to meritorious students based on scores in the Plus Two entrance exam. The university will offer over Rs 7.5 crore as scholarship. Upto 100 per cent waiver in the tuition fees will be offered for the first year.
The university offers UG and PG courses in Engineering, Management Studies, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maritime Studies, Commerce, Life Sciences/Basic Sciences, Computing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Hotel & Catering Management and Visual Communication, the release said. For details, call: 7305 111 222.
