K Gnanadesikan is now the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday transferred Chief Secretary Mohan Verghese Chunkath. He has been replaced by K Gnanadesikan, a 1982 batch IAS officer, who is at present Chairman of the TNEB.
Gnanadesikan will also hold full additional charge as the Vigilance Commissioner and Commissioner for Administrative Reforms in place of Chunkath, holding additional charge.
Chunkath will be taking over as the Additional Chief Secretary and Director, Anna Institute of Management, and Director General of Training in a newly created post in place of Dr V Irai Anbu, who was transferred and posted as Secretary, Commissioner of Economics and Statistics.
