Will or wouldn’t Rajni enter politics?

Rajnikanth – do you want him to step into politics or go his own way? This topic came into discussion on Rajni’s open confession on Sunday after receiving huge clamouring from various political parties. The star said he is not afraid of politics, but that he has a secondary thought about taking the plunge. His statement has indeed triggered a murmur among the political circles and of course, the film industry.
Political parties have always been inviting the actor to enter the politics the recent of which happened with the appeal by Union minister G.K Vasan. During the recent lok sabha election, PM Narendra Modi went on to meet the actor in person at his Poes Garden residence. After the meet got over, the actor spoke to the press persons saying that it was nothing about politics. He also pointed that Modi is his good friend and well-wisher.
Ever since the actor stepped into the industry in 1975 with Apporva Ragangal, the actor has given plethora of hits including Billa, Thalapathi, Annamalai, Basha, Muthu, Padayappa, until the latest hit Enthiran. In parallel with his film popularity has been growing the interest of political people on him.
