South Korea navy personnel clean Chennai Marina beach as a part of their training!

South Korean Navy Force member, who have arrived in Chennai, cleaned the city’s Marina beach as a part of their training.

2 warships have arrived in Chennai from South Korea with the purpose of their Navy personnel learning the naval war strategies from India.

More than 600 Navy personnel have arrived with the aim of strengthening their Navy as well as establishing friendship with different countries.

As a 1st Phase of their training, the Navy Personnel started cleaning the Marina Beach.

600 Korean Navy personnel and 400 Indian Navy personnel joined by their family members were engaged in cleaning the famous Marina Beach.

As a result, the beach really appeared clean and glowing.

After the completion of the cleaning session, they collected in front of the Mahatma Gandhi Statue and took the oath to strengthen India-South Korea Friendship and appreciate and maintain cleanliness!

An Indian naval official informed:

The naval force from South Korea has arrived in Chennai to learn the Indian Naval Strategies and strengthen the friendship between the 2 countries. Cleaning Marina Beach was a part of the training.

They have been doing this at every country they visit. It is wonderful to move & work closely with them. This is a new attempt between the country for forging better relations.

The South Korean Team will leave Chennai on Tuesday, 18th November. A farewell party has been arranged.

A Korean Food Festival was organised at Chennai University premises. There was cultural, music and dance performance by Korean artistes. There was a display of Karate proficiency.

This was followed by Korean Food festival, where ‘Bibimbap’, a traditional and popular Korean Delicacy was served as a main dish.
