Correction work on voters list: 20.68 Lakh applications!

With the special camps conducted for carrying out corrections of voters list and entering the new applications, the Election Commission has informed that more than 20 Lakh applications have been received.
Tamil Nadu Election CEO, Mr. Sandeep Saxena has released a report on this.
Out of a total of 20 lakh applications, 16,28,600 applications are new entries.
Even though the special camps are over, the public can continue to apply on-line through the web site: http://www.elections.tn.gov.in/
New voters list will be announced on January 5,2015
