‘My India, My flag’ – an event to celebrate Armed Forces Flag day on December 7

December 7 is celebrated as Armed Forces Flag Day all over the country. Owing to this, Rotary District is all set to organize an celebration event at YMCA ground, Nandanam. The event is titled ‘My India, My flag’. This will have 50,000 individuals taking part in it. The entire population 50000 will jointly form the shape of our Indian flag. Those who age above 16 are free to take part in the event.
The event will commence by 7am and the flag formation will get over by 8.30 am. This flag pattern will prevail for about 15 minutes. Those who are interested in taking part in the event can get their names enrolled in the website: www.rotarymyflagmyindia.com. The dimensions of this flag will be 420 feet in length and 320 feet in breath. Representatives from the Guinness book of world records will take part and monitor the event. This will also see participation from top cinema celebrities, music directors and other film personalities.
