Fall in tomato & ginger prices!

During the recent rains, extra quantities of tomato and ginger have been transported to the Koyambedu wholesale vegetable market.
Tomato arrived in 60 trucks instead of the usual 50 trucks. Hence, the price of Bangalore Tomato as well as the local tomato went down by Rs. 5/- per kg.
Last week the price of local tomato was Rs. 20/ per kg. This is now Rs. 15/- per kg. Bangalore tomato was sold at Rs. 20/- per kg and ginger at Rs. 40/- per kg.
The prices of all fruits also went down by Rs. 10/- to Rs. 20/- per kg in the Koyambedu wholesale market.
