Legal action was clamped on 100 persons on Saturday night (25th October) for drunken driving.
A search squad was deployed on Saturday night to track hiding criminals & anti-social elements.
The squad were checking all the vehicles. They conducted searches on private guest houses. They also scrupulously monitored areas such as bus stops, railway stations, vegetable markets, etc.
They conducted enquiry on 565 suspects.
On the mission of vehicle checks, they registered legal cases on 100 persons for drunken driving.
As a crime preventive measure, they arrested 110 persons.
