Cyclonic storm Nilofar will not affect Tamil Nadu

A cyclonic storm hurtling towards the north Gujarat coast is expected to make its landfall on October 31 morning with a sustained wind speed of 90-100 kilometres per hour at its centre, gusting to 110 km per hour.
The storm, named Nilofar, on October 26 lay centred over 1,270 km southwest of Mumbai and 910 km east-southeast of Salalah in Oman. The storm will not affect Tamil Nadu and Andaman Islands.
