Passport Mela on November 1

The regional passport office in Chennai is also holding Passport Mela on November 1 at all three passport kendras located at Saligramam, Aminjikarai and Tambaram . Since it is being held on Saturday, all the three kendras will function as normal. It is believed that around 1700 applicants are likely to benefit from the mela.
Those who want to participate in the mela have to log on to the website http://www.passportindia.gov.in/, register online, generate application registration number, pay online fees and then take appointment. Applicants should also bring the printout of ARN with appointment details. Only applications under normal category will be accepted. The appointments will be released on October 29 at 1445 hours for the mela.
