IPS officers transferred

Seven IPS officers in the state were reshuffled on Friday.K Shankar, deputy inspector general of police and joint commissioner of police, law and order, Chennai east, was promoted to IGwest zone, Coimbatore.
A Amalaraj, DIG, commissioner of police, Salem, was promoted as IG. H M Jayaram, DIG, TN police academy, was promoted as IG-welfare. R Thirugnanam, deputy inspector general of police and joint commissioner of police, law and order, Chennai south, was promoted and posted as the additional commissioner. S Davidson Devasirvatham was posted as IG, administration, Chennai.
