‘Acupuncture Paths’ for walkers to be provided in major parks!!

Chennai Corporation has ordered that all major parks to be provided with acupuncture walk paths.
In Singapore, the walk paths in the parks are paved with pebbles. Walking on this path generates a feeling of having undergone acupuncture treatment. There will be no pain in the feet while walking on these pebbles-paved paths. It is learnt that complaints like swelling of feet can be prevented by this walk.
Chennai Corporation built this walk path in a park located in Mugalivakkam on an experimental basis.
Subsequently, the Chennai Corporation has decided to build this facility in all major parks.Natesan Park & Panagal Park in T’Nagar, Sivan Park in KK Nagar, the park in Secretarial headquarters, and My Lady’s Park will all be provided with acupuncture walk paths.
A corporation official informed that this step is taken to give the public the experience of feeling undergoing acupuncture treatment. If the public approach the corporation specifying tha parks & the existing paths, steps would be taken to build acupuncture walk paths in these sites. As such, the project is not very expensive.
