An important announcement by the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Health different vaccines for different age groups!

The Department of Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has announced that coronavirus vaccination WILL NOT BE ADMINISTERED IN THE GOVERNMENT GENERAL HOSPITALS!
In a circular released by the Department of Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, it is mentioned:
“As per the guidance of the Central Government, coronavirus vaccinations are being administered to the citizens from 16th January 2022 as a preventive measure to control the raging spread of the coronavirus.
As such, the Department of Health of the State Government of Tamil Nadu has released the details of the type of vaccines to be administered to the different age groups.
As per this detail, citizens above 18 years of age may be administered with Covaccine or Covishield and citizens above 60 years of age must be administered with Booster vaccine this vaccination can be done in the government as well as private hospitals.
Citizens above 18 years of age may be administered with Sputnik in private hospitals.”
