The central government has come up with an announcement that the subsidy payment on the purchase of kerosene will be deposited in the respective bank savings account as practiced in the LPG cooking gas cylinder purchase.
Presently, the scheme of depositing the subsidy for LPG cooking gas cylinders is operative throughout the country.
Exploration of the idea to follow this practice on the subsidy of kerosene also was seriously undertaken.
Meanwhile, the central government has also declared that Aadhar card is a must for buying kerosene from ration shops.
It has further announced that the plans are about to be implemented to deposit the subsidy amounts for kerosene also into the respective bank savings accounts and this scheme will be in all states except Meghalaya and Kashmir.
It has also been announced by the central government that Aadhar cards would again be required to get the subsidy of Rs. 4000 for constructing toilets.
