This is already functioning in the first phase on a test basis in 11 districts including Ariyalur. Now, this has been expanded to cover the entire state of Tamil Nadu.

Complaints regarding the functioning of the ration shop or the quality of the items sold can be made to the toll-free number 1967 from 8.00 AM to 6.00 PM.

The complaint will be registered and informed to the relevant officers. Later, a feedback will be given on the action taken.
