Posted on: 03/Mar/2017 3:17:41 PM
As a move to upgrade the long-term evolution mobile communication services all over India, an innovative move called Infill and Growth, I & G project is announced by Samsung. This project is for Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd to expand its network capacity and coverage.

With this project, there will be substantial expansion of Jio services, particularly in rural areas, reaching close to 90 percent of population, thus providing uninterrupted indoor as well as outdoor coverage even in populated urban locations.

Jyotindra Thacker, the President of Reliance Jio Infocomm said their network has absorbed over a 100 million subscribers in hardly 170 days. They are focused on creating game-changing digital experience in the country by incorporating lofty ecosystems, mobile content, and innovations in all IP networks and ongoing processes.

We made it possible with the introduction of efficacious LTE services, Pan-India. Earlier, Samsung started rolling out LTE core, base stations and solutions as needed for the VoLTE. There were also deployment services to launch nationwide Jio network.

The world’s hugest greenfield LTE network has thus become possible by Samsung and Jio.
Deploying more than a million cells spread all over India is truly a remarkable and massive move. We will continue to create new paradigms for LTE-advanced Pro and 5G by functioning close with Jio, said Youngky Kim, the President and Head of Networks Business at Samsung Electronics.
