Jio Prime Scheme by Reliance for Rs 99

Reliance Jio is ready with its next announcement. The mobile network has introduced Jio Prime Scheme for Rs 99 per year. For all Jio users who subscribe to the plan within 31st March 2017, the following services will be made available:
The free internet offer by Jio will get over on 31st March, however Ambani stands by his words stating that his mobile network will provide mobile data at 20 percent lesser price as compared to its competitors. Mukesh Ambani also claims that Reliance Jio is the largest of all mobile networks, globally.
In terms of mobile penetration, India stood at 150th position globally, but now Indian stands atop as the No 1 nation in mobile data usage. The data consumption here is on par with those in the US and China.
Coming on to the Jio Prime offer, this will kick upon expiry of Happy New Year offer that has preset deadline as 31st March 2017. This is targeted at initial Jio customers. The offer will facilitate jio users with free services for 12 more months by paying one time charge of Rs 99.
In just 170 days, Jio services has crossed over 100 million customers. This is a great achievement India has made. In every second of every single day since the launch, throughout these 170 days, seven customers per second have been getting added.

- Jio has clocked 200 crore minutes of voice/data over this period and over 100 crore GB a month
- Jio will end its free internet offers on 31 March, but will offer 20% more data than its competitors
- Jio Prime membership scheme unveiled
- Free unlimited data for another 12 months, by paying Rs 303 per month, making it Rs 10 per day.
- Free access to Jio services like Jio Music, Jio Cinema and more up to 31 March 2018
- Users can enrol for Jio Prime from 1 March to 31 March
- Reliance Jio to offer free voice calls, no roaming from April 1 when promo offer ends; to double data capacity in coming months.
- Jio users consumed over 100 Crore GB data, more than 3.3 Crore GB/day, making India No.1 country in mobile data usage.
- Seven customers added every single second since launch.
