That’s very commonly seen in people to avoid rice so as to reduce their weight. This however may not be needed as researchers have an alternative way of cooking rice that will cut down on its calorie content.
According to scientists from Sri Lanka, adding a spoon of coconut oil during the process of cooking rice followed by refrigerating it for 12 hours will cut down its calorie by more than 50%. They also add that reheating this rice will not affect it by any way.
