Schools to reopen tomorrow (19th January) for 10th and 12th Standard Students!

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister E. Palaniswamy had announced that the schools will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday, 19th January) after a rather long gap since the closing of schools as a preventive measure against the raging coronavirus pandemic.
Accordingly, the main activity of cleaning the school complexes had commenced 3 days ago and is in progress! In the 1st Phase, the schools are being reopened for 10th & 12th Standard students only.
Because of this, the Tamil Nadu State Government Department of Education has sent circulars to all the scho0ols the guidelines to be followed as essential preventive measures against the spreading of the raging coronavirus pandemic. The circular emphasises the need to st5rictly adhere to the guidelines including observing social distancing.
With all schools scheduled to reopen tomorrow, the task of cleaning the school complexes has been int3ensified and expedited.
The benches and chairs used by the students have been repainted. Cleaning of the toilets is in full swing,
Body temperature measuring equipment is kept ready for checking the students.
In case any student fees feverish, test equipment are also kept ready. Further, spraying of the entire school complexes with disinfectants is in progress in full swing!
