Tatkal system introduced for the March +2 public exams!

The Government School Examination Board has announced that the students who have not applied so far to write the +1 and +2 Public Examinations can now apply for the same through ‘Tatkal’ system.

A press notification released by the above examination board mentions:

‘The Public Examinations for the +1 and +2 classes are scheduled to be conducted in March 2020. Earlier, the dates had already been announced for the students interested in writing these Public Examinations and asking them to apply online.

Now, the students who failed to apply before the above earlier date can apply online under the Private candidate`s Special Permission scheme.

The candidates who appeared in the +1 and +2 Public Examinations as per the old syllabus and failed can now write the Public Examinations to be conducted as per the old syllabus in March and June 2020,

The private candidates who wrote +1 Public Examinations and failed can now apply to write the +2 Public Examinations and also write the +1 public examinations for the subjects in which they failed.

The private candidates need to visit the respective district government examinations service centres and apply online on 2nd and 5th January.

Application Fee

The private candidates who already wrote +1 or +2 Public examinations and failed in some subjects and interested in writing these examinations on failed subjects must pay an examination fee of Rs. 50 per subject, additional payment Rs. 35, and online registration charges Rs. 50.

The candidates writing the examinations for the 1st time must pay the examination fee Rs. 150, additional charges Rs. 35, and online registration charges Rs. 50. Apart from this candidates must pay Tatkal charges of Rs. 1000 at the Service Centres.
