Google wants its eco system not just to suit adults and youngsters, but also kids. It aims at making all of its latest mobile technologies very productive for the future generations. Here is the Family Link service newly launched. It is a way to keep the parents and children in sync through Android devices.
Using Family Link, it is possible for parents to keep monitoring the Android device of their children and keep monitoring their usage. As a parent, if you want to have the Android and provide all details of your kids. Upon entering, it will get automatically downloaded on the device in use by your kid. After this, you can start governing the below details of your kid’s device:
App management
For each and every app that your kids want to download, you will be notified. With this, you will have the control of deciding whether or not the app can be downloaded in his device.
Screen time management
The screen time on the device can also be managed. You will keep receiving timely reports regarding the time spent on individual apps.
Bedtime settings
You can lock your kid’s device at specific times after sleep hours or during study hours.
This feature is however available only on select devices. The device used by your kid should be a supported Android device and yours need to run on Android KitKat 4.4 or beyond, or iPhone funning on iOS9 or beyond.
