Honda to open a car manufacturing factory in Gujarat

Honda who is well known for manufacturing and selling its cars has now decided to open a car manufacturing factory in Gujarat with the intention of expanding its business. Honda Cars India chief executive Yoichiro Ueno while speaking said: Honda has already a factory in Greater Noida and Tapukura. The cars which are assembled here are being sent for sales. In 2016, its sales plunged to 1, 58,658. In the year 2015, the sales was increased by 2, 12,372. In order to increase the sales Honda Cars has acquired 380 acres in Gujarat to set up a new factory. We are confident of the long-term potential of India and are committed to this market. We will go slowly on diesel now as customer preferences have already shifted back to petrol following narrowing of the fuel price differences.
