Cognitive computing is the future in India, IBM CEO

IBM, a global tech giant has stated that cognitive computing that aids users in decision making is the scope in India and stresses on the fact that it is already a leader in IT in the country.
India has been digitizing and making the world do so too. The foundation is all set and it is undoubtedly a digital foundation. Now, it is the turn for the nation to make the entire world cognitive. This is the difference maker now, says Chairwoman, President and Chief Executive Ginni Rometty.
Creating abilities on natural language processing, deep learning, machine learning, image and vision, etc are some of the abilities to build.
India is a country of brilliant developers and that is why the future of the country is told to lie with cognitive computing. By the year 2020, India will house the largest developer population in the entire world and over 3 million programmers will help in developing more than about ten percent of the year’s apps released.
She has also asked for best utility of technologies such that the industry can guide technology safely and make it transparent and open.
