As per the report received from the Director of the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, regarding the maximum rainfalls recorded as of 8.30 AM yesterday (Sunday, 1st October) for the last 24 hours, the rainfall recorded in centimeters: Thirunelveli District, Oothu – 11, Nilgiri District, Windworth Estate - 10, Coimbatore District, Chinnakkallaru, and Thirunelveli District, Nalumukku – 9 each.
