Vivegam outperforms Baahubali 2 with its weekend collections

Though the film is receiving mixed reviews from all corners, the Ajith starrer Vivegam is being acclaimed across the world from critics.
This is an Indian spy thriller film. It has grabbed about Rs 66 crore across the world right during the first 2 days, creating a record.
It is said that the movie’s first weekend collection has surpassed that of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The conclusion. Vivegam has collected Rs 4.28 crore right during the first 3 days of its release, whereas Baahubali 2 could collect Rs 3.24 crore. In the 4 days weekend for the film Vivegam that hit the screens on 24th August, it could earn Rs 5.75 crore.

The film stars Ajith in the lead role and has Vivek Oberoi playing the opponent. Kajal Agarwal and Akshara Hassan have played the female supporting roles. Anirudh Ravichandar has scored the background scores and soundtracks. On 7th August, the audio release was made. Vetri has handled the camera and editing works are by Anthony L. Ruben.
Across about 3000 screens, the film go released. It was made of an overall budget of Rs 100 crore. For the weekend, there were massive advance bookings by fans. In the film, the story tracks down the life of Interpol officer and a set of several lifetime events. The film has Kajal Agarwal, Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Hassan playing pivotal roles.
It was on 28th April that Baahubali 2: the conclusion got released. The film starred Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Ramya Krishnan, and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. The film was directed by SS Rajamouli. The film was made of an overall budget of Rs 250 crore.
