Posted on: 04/Jan/2017 2:58:01 PM
Filing of e-TDS/TCS statements within due date to avoid further consequences. Here are some of the important points.

January 31, 2017 is the last date for filing quarterly TDS statement for quarter ending 31st December 2016 (i.e. quarter III) and filing thereafter may attract late filing fees.

You may use Return Preparation Utility (RPU) to prepare your quarterly e-TDS/TCS statement, the RPU is prepared and hosted by NSDL e-Gov. at TIN website
(www.tin-nsdl.com/etds-etcs/eTDS-download-regular.php) to avoid rejection on account of any inconsistency.

Please submit duly signed Form 27A generated through latest FVU available on TIN website , along with your TDS/TCS statement at the time of filing.

Avoid last moment rush and late filing fees of Rs. 200/- per day U/S 234E of Income Tax Act.

Visit the nearest TIN FC to submit the e-TDS/TCS statement.
