EC increases browsing centres to 1,300

In a bid to increase online registration of voters, the Election Commission has increased the number of browsing centres to 1,300 in the state and government`s Common Service Centres can also be accessed for online registration of voters, said a press release issued by chief electoral officer Praveen Kumar. In these centres, Rs 10 has to be paid while registering. Registrations can be done up to November 10.
