Metro Rail will be thrown open to public in December - Venkaiah Naidu

M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union minister for urban development, on Friday mentioned the first Chennai Metro Rail service from Koyambedu to Alandur will be open to the public only by December. He also mentioned that When the project becomes operational, there should be commercial establishments like food courts and ATMs to make the project viable.
