You can now call an auto with Ola app!

First it was taxis and now you can also call an autorickshaw using the Ola app from your smart phone.
According to Ola, over 1000 autos in the city have enrolled in its system.
When you open the Ola app and type your location and touch the auto icon, it searches and indicates the nearby spots where such autos are parked. If you confirm your request, a message is sent to the auto driver and he contacts you in your cell phone. You can tell him your exact location and he will arrive there with his auto.
The fare payable is as shown in the meter, with no haggling, plus an additional service charge of Rs. 10 for Ola.The metered fare is Rs. 25 for the first 1.8 km and Rs. 12 for every additional km.
You can also use the Ola app for booking a taxi. The fare for Mini taxi (air conditioned Tata Indica) is Rs. 100 for the first 5 kms and Rs. 12 for every additional km.
The fare for Sedan (air-conditioned Tata Indigo) is Rs. 150 for the first 6 kms and Rs. 15 for every additional km.
The Ola app can be downloaded from Apple Store for iPhone or from Android Store for other phones.
