‘Road-block’ protest in front of Chepauk Guest House – 2000 arrested!

2000 cane-sugar farmers indulged in road-block protest in front of the Chepauk Guest House. They were all arrested.
The sugarcane farmers complained that Rs. 300/- is being decuted by private sugar factories from the sum of Rs. 2550 assured by the government.
They have pleaded that the Tamil Nadu government should take action to release and pay the deducted amount.
