It is very important to stay fit and healthy in our lives so that we could be free from many health issues affecting us. It must be noted that most of us find it very difficult to be fit and healthy these days because of lack of time at our disposal or due to some their reasons.

On this 7th of April 2018 entire world would be celebrating World Health Day is well known. It is now revealed that the theme for this year is ‘Universal Health Coverage: Everyone, Everywhere’.

To be fit and healthy is no more difficult for the human beings and there are simple ways by which fitness and health could be achieved in people.

Proper sleep - This is very important and plays huge role in being fit and healthy. It must be noted that lack of sound sleep affects our physical as well as our mental health and leads to many health issues later on.

Consuming balanced diet - Balanced diet is very important and one must have proper balanced diet and not over eat. Fresh fruits, vegetables plus grains must be consumed to be fit and healthy. Lean sources of proteins like tofu, poultry, fish etc must be included in the diet.

Consume more water - By drinking lots of water our body gets hydrated and it plays role in healthy body. Our organs and digestive system gets cleansed by consuming lots of water.

Avoid too much stress - Stress has become part and parcel of our daily lives is known. People must try to avoid this stress as it could lead to many health issues later. Walking is good so that healthy body is maintained.

Regular medical check-ups - This is also very important in staying fit and healthy because by this regular medical check-ups proper timely attention could be given and doctor could be consulted.
