It has been established the deficiency of Vitamin D might be the reason for some of the middle-aged men getting affected with various diseases that attack mainly to poor body resistance.

Calcium is a very important ingredient in keeping bones strong. To ingest Calcium in the body, Vitamin D is required. Vitamin D plays several important parts apart from strengthening bones.

It starts from preventing diabetes to cure/prevent impotency. Vitamin D is present not only in bones but also in body tissues, pituitary gland, thyroid gland, pancreas, etc.

A research establishes that deficiency in Vitamin D might be the reason for weak sperms and poor sperm quality.

Any deficiency in Vitamin D leads to decreased production of hormones which are essential for bone growth and also weaken the tissues and the body.

The research says that the loss of nutrients in the body will gradually increase leading to severe problems in body functioning and may even eventually cause death.

One of the researchers observes that this problem is now a global phenomenon. He informs that vitamin D is essential for bone density and health. The failure to generate anabolic hormone and this deficiency may weaken the body.

The lower quantity of the hormone - dehydroepiandrosterone sulphate (DHEA-S) weakens them considerably. However, this research may not apply to one and all. So, this theory is still to be established. However\, it is true that deficiency of vitamin D affects the middle-aged and old men.

Vitamin D is generated within the body. The ultraviolet rays from the sun, energised by a hormone, transform the dehydrocholesterol with chemical changes and converts to Vitamin D.

It is essential for exposure to the sun to a certain extent and also through some of the food items to get Vitamin D.

Mushrooms, fish tissues (salmon, tuna, and mackerel) and cod liver oil are rich in Vitamin D. So, it is better to include them in the diet.

In case hand/leg/bone/body pain is felt by the middle-aged men, it is better to consult the doctor immediately.

If the doctor confirms deficiency of Vitamin D, take the treatment which helps complete cure in 2-3 months. Daily exposure to sunlight at least for 2 minutes is required.
