MRTS Stations Requires Secure Parking Zones

Despite of non-functioning elevators and scanty lights, the Taramani Railway station has no secure parking facilities for more than a year.Also two primary MRTS stations near Tidel Park, which has been in use by thousands of travelers each and every day, lacks proper parking zones.
As there is no secure parking zones, travelers are compelled to park their vehicles at their own risk on the bleak places; hence offenders took advantage over this poor security and plays over the parked vehicles, complained by the commuter.
A commuter has filled the complained on his missing two-wheeler on last January which has been parked in the unsafe parking zone in the Thiruvanmayur railway station. But it shows disappoint, that the officials in the Railway station says that, the railway department is not responsible for the stolen vehicle.
Because of the scarcity of the proper parking precinct in the railway station, people are forced to prefer for other modes of transport.Same circumstances prevail in many railway stations including Chepauk, Taramani, and so on.
A representative of the public commuter, Mr.Ramakrishnan, states that southern railway station officials are giving meager importance to the public security facilities in MRTS Stations.Tenders has been processed for framing the parking zones, replied by officials.
