Income Certificate can be obtained without Family ration card or Voter ID – E-service

Getting an income certificate, residence proof letter, or community/caste certificate does not require Voter ID or Family card.
With the recently opened E-service centre in Chennai, the certificates can be shown once to the authorities. A special unique number will be given. This can be used to obtain the above certificates.
14 E-service centres have been opened in Chennai. Community/caste certificate, Income certificate, Widows certificate, disability certificate, and residential proof letter can all be obtained here.
In the coming days, the electricity bills, water bills, and property tax can also be paid here. The E-service Centre at Mylapore accepts electricity billand Prporty Tax payment.
E-centres function between 10 AM and 5.30 PM. The centres are located at Egmore, Nungambakkam, Mambalam, Guindy, Mylapore, trplicane (Taluk offices), and Adyar, Anna Nagar, and Basin Bridge (Ward offices), and Saidapet and Ashok Nagar (Metro water office).
