Great news about the construction of a modern film city in Chennai!!

This piece of news would make many Tamil film producers, directors and actors etc happy and feel delighted!!
In the future, a modern film city would be built near Poonamallee in Chennai and this was mentioned by the chief minister of TN Mr. M.K. Stalin on Saturday 6th January 2024. He spoke about how a brand new film city worth Rs 540 cr would be constructed at Poonamallee. The chief minister then made it clear that the TN govt would establish 4 floors for film shooting at a cost of Rs 25 cr at MGR Film City.
On Saturday, at the famous Guindy Race Course ground, Kalaignar 100 event was organised by the TN Film Producers Council. The event witnessed the presence of actors like Rajinikanth, Kamalhassan, Suriya, Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Sivakarthikeyan, Karthi and Vadivelu etc. Popular Tamil film directors like Pa. Ranjith, Vetrimaaran, Lokesh Kanagaraj etc took part in the event.
The event saw actors like Rajinikanth, Kamalhassan and Suriya etc appreciating Kalaignar Karunanidhi as a powerful screenwriter, dialogue writer etc.
