Income tax raid at Meenakshi group of institutions

Income tax raids were conducted at the various Meenakshi group of institutions spread across 17 places. This includes their branches at Chennai, Pudhuchery and Kanchipuram. The raid was further to the doubt that raised about tax evasion by the institution.
Raid was carried out by a team of seventeen members and it commenced at 8 in the morning. It is expected that the raid will continue up to Wednesday morning. In addition to this, raids were also carried out at few newspapers offices.
