Linking Voter ID card with Aadhar Card: The Central Government issues an ultimatum!!

The central government had issued earlier an announcement regarding the linking of the Voter ID Card with the Aadhar Card. The Central Government had passed legislation in the Parliament to link the Voter ID Card with Aadhar Card.
The major benefit of this link of Voter ID Card with the Aadhar Card will be that a single citizen WILL NOT BE ABLE to CAST HIS/HER VOTE MORE THAN once!!
Further, the facility has been made available for the citizen to vote as soon as he/she reaches 18 years of age 4 times in a calendar year – 1st January, 1st April, 1st July, and 1st October. Moreover, to establish the procedure of gender equality, the word ‘wife’ has been changed to ‘Life Partner’!
With this, the facility will be available for the husbands/wives of army personnel working in remote places or working abroad to cast their votes!
As such, these reforms have been brought about in the election process. This amendment Act has been implemented.
The Central Law Minister Kiran Rejiju has mentioned on his Twitter Page that 4 announcements have been released in this regard!
