Admissions soon in Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools

The admissions to the 1st Standard in Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools which function under the central government for the coming academic year 2020-21 is scheduled to commence shortly.
Over the last 2 years, the admission for the 1st Standard students was done online from 1st March. For the other standards, admissions for 2nd to +2 (except +1) classes were done directly on 2nd April.
The admission dates for the +1 class will be announced within 10 days after the completion of the 10th Standard examinations.
In this scenario, it is now expected that the admission for the 1st Standard will commence shortly. Once the registrations are complete, the 1st list of admissions will be declared online uploaded on the Kendriya Vidyalaya website Sangathan.
Subsequently, if there are further seats available, the 2nd and 3rd list of admissions for 1st Standard would be released.
As regards school education, it is generally considered a challenge to get admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya.
It may be recalled that during the year 2019, 8.50 Lakhs applications were received for the available 1 Lakh seated in Kendriya Vidyalaya!
