Rahul Gandhi visits Tamil Nadu tomorrow - 4 election campaign meetings

Posted on: 11/Apr/2019 11:18:36 AM
The election campaign draws to a conclusion at 5.00 PM on 15th April. So, the leaders and contestants from the various political parties have indulged in fiery campaign addresses. Even the attention of the national leaders is drawn towards Tamil Nadu.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi participated in the campaign held day-before-yesterday (9th April) I Coimbatore. Further, he is scheduled to address the campaign meetings in Ramanathapuram (13th April, morning) and Theni (13th April, evening).

In this scenario, the President of the Congress party, Rahul Gandhi, is scheduled to visit Tamil Nadu tomorrow (Friday, 12th April(.  He will participate in 4 campaign meetings in Krishnagiri, Salem, Theni, and Thirupparankundram. For this, he is flying in a special helicopter from Bengaluru to reach Krishnagiri.

The Tamil Nadu Congress party president, K. S. Azhagiri, shared with the press reporters:

‘Rahul Gandhi will participate I 4 election campaigns from 12th April – Krishnagiri (10.00 AM), Salem (1.00 PM, Theni (3.00 PM), and Thirupaarankundram (5.00 PM). The DMK president M. K. Stalin also participates.

The proposal for the monthly offer of Rs. 6000 for the poor made by the Congress party is raging even stronger than the cyclone ‘Gaja’! I am a fan of the superstar Rajinikanth! I have won the election with the symbol of the cycle (Rajinikanth film Annamalai). The recent appreciation from Rajinikanth on the BJP party manifesto on linking of rivers has raised doubts whether he has taken sides! It is a fact that the rivers in India cannot be linked! BJP has thought of some attractive issues for its campaign! It is a pity that Rajinikanth has fallen a scapegoat on this ploy!

K, S. Azhagiri released the Congress party campaign song ‘Desam kakkumkai’ (The hand which protects the country). Poet Jothi Ramalingam received it. In this event, the Congress General Secretaries G. K. Das, Thnikachalam, Press-coordinator Gopanna, SC cadre District leader M. Pranjankumar and others participated.
