How to exchange the reserved IRCTC ticket to other persons?

It is quite natural to commit some errors while booking train tickets on the IRCTC website. A new feature has been added now in the online reservation system for the booking persons to correct these mistakes.
Do you want to exchange the booked ticket to some other’s name?
IRCTC provides the facility to change the name of the person under who the ticket has been booked. However, the customers who book can avail this facility only once! Here is the procedure for this:
Reserved ticket
· Take a print of the reserved ticket.
· Then, visit the nearest train booking facility counter.
· When visiting the reservation counter, take the identity proof of the person to whose name the change of reservation is sought along with a Xerox copy of the same.
· Then proceed to ask the counter official to change the name of the person on the booking details.
