Hyderabad & Pune are the top Indian cities to live in, Chennai, Bengaluru follow

According to Mercer Quality of Living Rating 2018, the best Indian cities to live are Hyderabad and Pune! With this, it is for the fourth time that the city Hyderabad is retaining its fourth place as the top city to live in India, though it is sharing the position with Pune this time!
In this list, Pune and Hyderabad have grabbed 142nd position. This is the top most of all the Indian cities which includes Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai and Delhi.
Globally, out of 450 cities, the top most is Vienna and the city is retaining this place for the 9th consecutive time. Zurich follows Vienna, being in second position and the third position is shared by Auckland and Munich. The other cities among the top 10 positions include Vancouver in Canada, Dusseldorf in Germany, Frankfurt in Germany, Geneva in Switzerland, Copenhagen in Denmark, Basel in Switzerland, and Sydney in Australia.

These two are the major reasons for selecting Hyderabad as the best in India.
Compared to rankings in the last 2 years, Pune has seen a jump in ranking. Excellent housing facilities, consumer goods availability for international employees, etc. are the reasons for Pune to be in this position.
The positions obtained by Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai and Kolkata are 149, 151, 154, and 160 respectively. Delhi has acquired 162nd position because of traffic changes in air quality in the city.
Major increase in living standards between years 1998 and 2018 are observed in cities in India and China. There is substantial investment made towards physical infrastructure (airports, public transport, broadband services, etc.) in these cities both of which are fast-growing economies in the world.
