Holiday for schools and colleges in Tuticorin & Tirunelveli districts

Due to the incessant heavy rains, a holiday has been declared for all the schools and colleges in the districts of Tuticorin and Tirunelveli.
A low-pressure zone, which formed over the southwest Bay of Bengal, has intensified. This has led to mild rain in a few places in the southern districts of Tamil Nadu.
A warning has been issued to the fishermen of Ramanathapuram, Tuticorin, and Kanyakumari not to venture into the sea.
It has been raining heavily in the districts of Tuticorin and Tirunelveli from yesterday (Tuesday, 13th March).
So, the district administration has declared a holiday for all the schools and colleges in these 2 districts. This holiday excludes all the students appearing for the Public Examinations.
So, the students appearing for the Public Examinations and the supervisors for the same are advised to attend to their task as usual.
