Government of Tamil Nadu has reorganised its bureaucracy now

The news that the government of Tamil Nadu has issued orders for transferring as many as 19 IAS officers has been the subject of discussion for many now.

It must be noted that after the 3 day conference had ended the government of TN reorganised its bureaucracy and has transferred leading IAS officers.

It is now confirmed by a government based notification that Mr. Rajesh Lakhoni who is chief electoral officer has been transferred and now he is posted as member secretary of CMDA or Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority. This Rajesh Lakhoni was previously the collector of Theni district and later he was shifted to the district of Kanyakumari is well known.

Till now Mr. Vijayaraj has been the member secretary of this CMDA and now he has been transferred as secretary of the department of welfare of differently abled persons.

Mr Sai Kumar who has been the managing director of Tangedco till now has also been transferred. It is now said that Mr Sai Kumar is now secretary to chief minister and Mr Vikram Kapur would be the new managing director of Tangedco. This Vikram Kapur would also be full additional charge of principal secretary of energy department.

One important piece of information is as secretary to the department of information technology Mr. B. Chandramohan would be giving his best now.

It is known that TRB or teachers recruitment board is not functioning smoothly and it has been facing charges of irregularities in the process of recruitment. Now Mr K. Nanthakumar as the chairman of this TRB would be making his presence felt in his new role assigned to him.

Mr K. Vivekanandhan, director of geology and mining would hold the additional charge of commissioner of technical education. According to the government order it is now said that government has transferred Mr. T.V. Somanathan as commissioner of commercial taxes.
