People living in Madambakkam in Chennai are facing garbage disposal problems now

Garbage creates many health problems to the people is known. This garbage must be disposed regularly so that the public are not affected by it.
Situated near Tambaram in Chennai, Madambakkam is a town panchayat is well known. In this place management of waste has been a major issue for the residents for many years and this place has got heaps of garbage. In the recent times this garbage problem here increased more than in the past. The reason was due to removal of dustbins from the locality at Selaiyur. It must be noted that new dustbins to collect the garbage is still not present here.
Mr Ramakrishnan expressed his feelings about this garbage disposal issues and spoke about how door to door collection of garbage is poor in his residential area of Madambakkam. He also threw light on the conservancy workmen who just come once in a month and how they don’t care about the complaints of the people living in this locality.
He later spoke about how the residents are forced to dump the garbage in the open as the dustbins are removed and new dustbins have not yet come. The worst issue here is the burning of the waste. Once in two months the conservancy workmen come and burn this garbage in an open space and it creates many issues for the residents. It is now revealed that the officials belonging to this place don’t believe this burning of waste issue. It is worthy to mention here that 12 tonnes of garbage is produced every day in as many as 15 wards of town panchayat having as many as 30000 people.
In this Madambakkam is situated the popular Denupureeswarar temple that is dedicated to Lord Shiva and this temple is visited by many devotees is well known. Pentecoastal church plus Madeena Masjid located in this Madambakkam are also popular.
