This burning of trash near Maduravoyal in Chennai is causing health problems now

Maduravoyal in Chennai is very important place and many people live here. Many people also travel by this place daily is well known.
Maduravoyal highways grade separator is grabbing the limelight now. It is now brought out that few miscreants have set fire to heaps of trash here. This has now created issues for the public.
Krupa Murugesan could not bear this and she posted pictures in Face Book of burning tyres blowing black smoke all over the grade separator at Maduravoyal. This thick black smoke has now reduced the visibility in this place and the pollution levels are unimaginable.
There were few inspections made by some people belonging to media and they were shocked to find the burning garbage.
People passing through this area are not happy now and this was confirmed by a person named Satish Kumar. He spoke about how it is very tough for him when he went past this area in his bike. He also spoke about the irritation in his eyes caused because of the black thick smoke. This has led him to wash his eyes with water and then proceed towards his destination.
Recently there were some reports regarding how dumping of debris goes unchecked and that was in the stretch connecting the bypass road near Maduravoyal and Koyambedu. One more point to be noted in the space beneath the grade separators municipal solid waste is also dumped and this is a serious concern.
It must be noted that the conservancy workers belonging to local bodies are also involved and they dump both plastic as well as organic waste in the Cooum River.
It is worthy to mention that officials belonging to Greater Chennai Corporation did not give much importance to this issue and according to them the area was outside their jurisdiction.
It is revealed now that conservancy workers of Adayalampattu panchayat were responsible for setting fire to the waste and was confirmed by the locals.
