Fellowship courses now open to all at IIT Madras

Non IITians can now attend a short fellowship programme at Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
The two-month summer fellowship, which begins on May 16, comes with a monthly stipend of Rs. 6,000 and is open to candidates with good ranks in University examinations and outstanding academic background who are in the third year of B.E., B Tech, B.Sc (engineering) / Integrated ME, M.Tech programme and those in the first year of M.E., M.Tech, M.Sc, M.A. and MBA.
The Dean of Academic Courses at IIT Madras said, Selected students will go through a mini project undertaken by the Institute, giving them an opportunity to work with researchers.
Interested candidates must highlight their academic performance including papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, score/rank in mathematics Olympiad and awards/distinctions received. The deadline for submitting applications is February 28. Details are available at https://www.iitm.ac.in/
