Central Government announced to increase train fair upto 10 paise per Km

In the next Railway Budget (2013-14), passengers fee to cash increase by Rs.5 to 10 paise/ kilometers, The railway sector, State Minister Mr. Suriyapraksh Reddy. Announced that the financial status of Railway sector is very poor and the surplus amount of money is not available for the allotment of various facilities for the public welfare so that to increase financial status of the Railway Sector we have to take necessary actions to boost up the income for Railway by increasing upto 10 paisa per km.
And he added that In the field of railway passengers only loss this year is Rs 22 thousand crore. This past year more than Rs 4 crore. Cash payment of up to 10 kilometers of rail passengers by raising the level of Rs 4 crore is expected to be able to raise additional revenue. he then said that 10 to 15 % the revenue will be more whereas Dinesh Trivedi announced.
